I'm Jimmy, a software engineer from France. Blouppy is where I write about software engineering: the patterns I rely on, the trade-offs behind them and the traps I'd rather you didn't fall into.
How I started
I started programming as an apprentice at ETAI. With only a few theoretical principles, I wondered how a developer could actually create software, and that is where I wrote my first "Hello World!". For an experienced developer, it is nothing revolutionary. As a beginner, I found it incredible!
That small program is where I found my passion. I went on to higher education, and kept building things in my free time.
